EverFocus presents the the new HD-CCTV „Video over Coax” product series. The initial system consists of the 8-channel HD-CCTV digital video recorder EPHD 08, the 2.0 Megapixel Full HD-CCTV box-type camera EQH 5200 and other peripheral products such as the HD-SDI/HD-CCTV to HDMI converter EHA-SRX, the HD-SDI/HD-CCTV coaxial cable repeater EHA-RTP as well as a BNC plug specifically suitable for HD-CCTV applications. The HD-CCTV digital video recorder EPHD 08 with H.264 compression format supports HD-CCTV cameras with 1920 x 1080 or 1280 x 720 resolution and offers HD real time recording and playback for all cameras (at 720p). The Full HD CCTV Camera EQH 5200 is equipped with a 2 Megapixel Progressive Scan CMOS sensor and provides day/night functionality with automatically swiveling IR cut filter. What’s the difference between the EverFocus HD-CCTV system and other, IP-based HD systems? Next to the flexible functionality and the significantly improved video image quality, the key differentiator is the well-known installation with 75Ω coaxial cable used also for traditional CCTV installations. This simplifies both system instruction and training and enables the seamless expansion of existing CCTV installations. What’s more, the HD-CCTV “Video over Coax” series’ products can also be integrated in existing IP video systems. |
